Cooker hood filter

The purpose of a cooker hood filter, or a range hood filter, is to collect grease. Over time the the cooking hood filter may become blocked with grease that it loses its effectiveness, which is why it's important to clean or change these range hood filters on a regular basis, for example quarterly.
